We play Let it Die - a crazy free PS4 game you have to try

If you love Dark Souls and have a PS4 and haven't tried Let it Die yet, I don't know what you're waiting for. The game is Free to Play, it is not insidious with microtransactions, it has tons of style and atmosphere, crazy characters and fun fights. What else do you need?

Let it Die is a new project by renowned game designer known as Suda 51 and his Grasshopper Manufacture team, and is a Dark Souls action RPG in which you climb up a huge tower mysteriously rising in the middle of Tokyo after a catastrophe. .

The game was released according to the Free to Play model on the PlayStation 4, which means it's free to download and play, but there is an option to buy some kind of premium currency with real money inside the game. Just go to a PSN and download it - it won't cost you anything, and you'll try something new.

According to everything I've seen so far, the game does not force you to spend any money for advancement, but motivates you to continue playing by showering you with that premium currency for free. Gameplay is not perfect, especially with regard to some of the details in the fight (delay with dodge maneuver and the like), and is a bit difficult to grasp at first (has a bunch of mechanics and oddities to grasp), but is so charming with its specific Japanese design and crazy characters that it's hard for her to resist. I mean, right at the beginning of the game, you'll be greeted by a character called Uncle Death (I don't know why I translated Uncle Death into Croatian right now) - a skateboard that skatesboard and collect dead bodies of those who tried but failed to climb that mysterious tower .

For a game where player characters are a consumable commodity (you'll die often, and that's no wonder), it may sound strange to say that Let it Die has fascinated me exactly with its characters so far. The whole thing just has a bunch of style, and it feels a bit like that specific signature of Suda 51. To get a deeper impression of the game, look around for video commentary.
